More about Shrimp and Tad, this time the setting is Shrimp's summer home in a New England fishing village. Tad has still to be cured of his habit of boasting, and once again it almost gets him into trouble. A visiting troupe of actors, a mystery bad man, a brace of Great Danes, an accident which almost causes death -- and Tad, Shrimp, Shrimp's obstreperous girl cousin, and Mysto and Margot once again all do their share in unravelling the mystery.
