Photographs of puppies to illustrate counting, up to ten, accompanied by single line of counting poem. Each picture faces full page number. The puppies in themselves are appealing (except the illustration reproduced on the jacket which has them hanging on a line) but for this type of picture-numbers, we still think Jane Flory's, How Many (Molt, 1944), is a better piece of work.
