KIRKUS REVIEW

Broadway's Doc Connor and his love for horseflesh involves him with the five Angel brothers and their sister when a family split over the Angels' racing stables takes a turn for murder. Doc hunts out an old scandal in Cuba but all his hunting clothes and trap lines prove nothing until he returns to Long Island and puts the bee on the blackmail and the killing of the sister. Devious deeds for dark Angels at dead level.
