THE HIDE RUSTLERS

A bizarre Western with a somewhat different locale- the Louisiana-Texas border area. The tried and true pattern of strong silent hero Indian-tracking the villainous hide rustlers is jazzed up by the infusion of some ante-bellum South material, replete with crumbling mansions, doddering aristocrat and the belle of the swamp who is holding the decadent family together. Our man, Blacklaws, gets her, of course, after a trail that is bloody with a mad dog herder, a vicious Creole and a vengeful stepbrother. This has some new flip through the combination of genre materials.
