KIRKUS REVIEW

The author, and participants, of Odds On Murder again engaged against a shadier social stratum as Dr. John Connor -- and Detective Eddie Marsh -- proceed in a matter of some counterfeit mutual tickets, the disappearance of a percentage operator, Panty Burke, who wanted to go straight, and a murder. Connor, protecting his missing man and the girl he was to have married, cannot save --but clears -- Panty Burke, identifies the killer for the police. Bum's rush.
