KIRKUS REVIEW

Most of these stories have appeared in McCall's, Playboy and the Saturday Evening Post. the subject is varied -- people of the past force a town to reject ""improvements""; a criminal traps a pursuing officer into the 1880's, a man ascends in a balloon with someone else's wife; a condemned man paints a door to escape in his cell, etc. Pleasant supernatural fare really meant for teens, particularly, aficionados of The Twilight Zone.
