FORTY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON RELIGION

No one writing today in the field of theology is better able that Finegan, Professor of New Testament at the Pacific School of Religion, to abstract theology into the English of the people in the pews--or out. An book, Youth Asks About Religion attempted to do this successfully with the reader in mind. The present book is based on the former, but is aimed as adult public. He groups his forty questions under the general categories Jesus Christ, the Bible, the Church and Immortality. Almost any religious one might ask falls within these divisions, and the answers he finds are with an informed and contagious enthusiasm which demonstrates convincingly theology can be both living and interesting.
