DONE WITH MIRRORS

The story of a free lance and the career he has chosen, which comprises his work in radio, moving pictures, advertising, ghostwriting, news features, publicity, rare books, and many other unclassified jobs. It has moments of humor, bitterness, concise advice and guidance, and is backgrounded within numberable stories of the various situations in which he has landed with newspapers, syndicates, people, employers and clients. It's a Tell-All sort of book which seems to prove that free-lancing is generally minus the ""free"" though not without its quota of experiences, which provide entertaining anecdotes, and adventures to be found only in a man-made business. Not a stuffed-shirt ""success"" book, but an honest appraisal of one way to make a living.
