KIRKUS REVIEW

A good yarn -- and Jack O'Brien has improved steadily in the gift of story telling. It is almost more the story of a young recruit, Jim Bradley, than of Corporal Corey, though their joint adventure ""getting their man"" is the backbone of the story. The thing that distinguishes it from the general run of Mounty yarns is the first third which tells of the training of rebellious Bradley, who is always getting into hot water.
