Saga of the ge, of Baba Deveril, a guy with a gun and a sense of justice, of a young maid named Marian, and three out and out crooks. Marian is about to marry the ringleader of the gang, but -- on a jaunt alone into the wilderness- she meets Deveril, wounded, nurses him back to health, and at the close dog eats dog, and Deveril is saved the job of polishing them off himself.
