Up-and-at-em en Holiday, as a challenge, is handed a dying railroad to s by his father, and he finds that he has more than one party of opposition: the Texa who in turn fear that the Indians will be stirred up; and an unnamed enterpre who is trying to buy him out- cheap. The murder of his aide, the disaffection of his accountant, the directive of his father- sell, do not deflect him and he holds his own and keeps it in an open fight.
