KIRKUS REVIEW

Continuing the experiences of Black John and Corporal Downey at Halfaday Creek where these old familiars impose a certain primitive justice and provide a certain primitive humor. Some six odd episodes involving murder, robbery, resoue, revenge, with Black John ably azzisting in rightful restitution and reprisal. The 41st by this author, this qualifies as standard outdoor entertainment.
