Continuing the experiences of Black John and Corporal Downey at Halfaday Creek where these old familiars impose a certain primitive justice and provide a certain primitive humor. Some six odd episodes involving murder, robbery, resoue, revenge, with Black John ably azzisting in rightful restitution and reprisal.
