Information in question-and-answer format on pregnancy and childbirth, contraception, intercourse, abortion, menopause, cancer and V.D. by a Family Circle columnist and former Medical Director for Planned Parenthood. Many women, he writes, are embarrassed and reluctant to consult the family doctor on ""personal"" matters. Certainly many of these queries are naive, and a few are downright foolish -- we really don't care how large whale eggs are or why the rhinoceros horn is reputed to be aphrodisiac. Not in the same league with Our Bodies, Ourselves (1973), but Dr. Kaufman is generally straightforward and liberal, and only a little paternalistic.
