By no means the liveliness of last year's A Private Killing, as lawyer Allen Tinker overrides his girl, Francesca, in taking on the case of a driver when a night watchman in a California department store is murdered. The competition, and the under the table deals between the personnel there provide the motives for and answers to a fairly dull occupational homicide.
