JOURNAL OF A TOUR TO THE HEBRIDES

This is news -- and the papers have already given it substantial news space in the story of the finding of the manuscripts of most of Boswell's journals at Malahide Castle in Ireland. They were issued privately in a limited edition of 19 volumes at $900. The Hebrides Journal was a later discovery and so was not among them. Therefore this will be the only authoritative version of this standard work, with first edition value for the collector, and importance for all public and college libraries. Existing versions have been drastically cut. This has been annotated for readability, but all original material has been included. Publisher backing.
