KIRKUS REVIEW

A straightforward history-geography of Brazil, this book does not exceed the limits normally ascribed to such a study. But it does inject into the facts regarding the Brazilian terrain, its produce, its customs and history, a note of vivid appreciation. Illustrated by Don Lambo, this study of the United States of Brazil gives an attractive and compact picture of the world's fifth largest country and of its 65 million inhabitants. A good classroom supplement.
