Little Nicholas longed to be a Santa Claus and devoted all of his spare time to preparing for this future occupation. He would fill his sister's stockings, pretend the dog was a keep ""good"" and ""bad"" lists and slide down the chimney. Then things get too far out of hand, Nicholas is faced with the disappointing truth. But Gramps (a ringer for Santa himself) saves the day. Explaining how Santa is always in need of new helpers to cope with our burgeoning population, he sparks new hope in Nicholas and creates a happy ending for logical thinkers who question Santa's agility. Conventional ""believers"" may be disillusioned, but those who are willing to transcend tradition will enjoy this new twist.
