KEYS THAT UNLOCK THE SCRIPTURES

This is an attempt to make available to the average reader the findings of scholars as to what the Bible really teaches. An idea as to the content and method of presentation is given by the sixteen ""keys"" offered to open up the meaning of the Bible. Among them are the following: ""Peculiarities of our English Bible"", ""The Work of the Archeologists"", ""The Idea of an Inerrant Bible"", (the author does not accept the strict concept of Scriptural inerrancy); ""Literature Rather than Law""; ""A Progressive Revelation""; ""Jesus the Focal Point""; ""The Various English Versions"". A good introductory book for the laity.
