Adults and emotionally mature boys and girls will appreciate this rather extraordinary conception of the story of the Creation. Daugherty has a sweep and rhythm that almost demands more space than the compass of a book; and here is a magnificent subject for his art. I liked particularly the pages which were virtually all pattern rather than figures. Don't look upon this in any sense as a ""juvenile"".
