A really inspirational panorama of America--its rivers and its mountains, its natural resources and its industries, its work and its people, its government and its democratic way of life--all told in dynamic text with a fine assortment of photographs (75 of them). The book does for children over eight what Look At America did for younger ones. The strongest possible appeal to young people to know and value what they have here. I wish this might find its way into every American home. Unfortunately (for this purpose) its cost is high.
