KIRKUS REVIEW

The selections are uniformly short, the imagery sharp and strong, the diverse subjects and tones united by the common, unquestioned assumption that ""My words are tied in one/ With the great mountains,/ With the great rocks,/ I one with my body/ and my heart."" So also Houston's two-toned drawings are sensitively, unpretentiously ""tied in one"" with the words.
