BEHIND THE SURGEON'S MASK

Again human interest stories framing a certain amount of medical information, as in Body Menders, and despite the title, there is as much general medicine as surgery. True case stories, involving the surgical, the glandular, the psychological, from typhoid to tumors. There are chapters involving dentistry, allergies and sun treatment, common diseases and rare. Personal, popular handling of stories which contain a good bit of drama and sentiment. Not big doctor stuff but readable.
