THE STORY OF DR. WASSELL

Factual content, once again, presented in fictional form. Dr. Wassell is one of the quiet heroes of this war; he was decorated for evacuating his wounded from a Java hill hospital, under incredibly difficult circumstances. This is his story, written with the humanity and the tenderness that is characteristic of Hilton. It is a fine tale of undramatized heroism; there was a job to do and he did it. It makes a moving story; adds another panel to the war picture.
