Disappointment for those who enjoyed Nymph Errant. In this Laver has gone completely thin Thorne Smith, minus the bawdy humor. There isn't much to recommend it -- a rather silly and inconclusive story of London set by the cars when the gods of mythology descend among mortals to see what life is like today. The one person who survives the test is the old numismatist of the British Museum. A rather laborious and very artificial performance.
