THE GENTLE HANGMAN

More murder for Johnny Marshall, a private operator in the California area, as he finds the body of a blonde gently hung from a bedpost after her disappearance from a radio stunt show with a $1000 ring. Some misleading matters of identity, of the contents of a briefcase, hot jewelry, finally force Marshall to bait the killer with Suzy, his wife, and in so doing he closes the case. The action is accelerated, the corners cut.
