Sure to find a market among all who thrilled to Mutiny on the Bounty and Men Against the Sea. But don't be misled into thinking it is the expected third of the trilogy. That is to be published in November, entitled Pitcairn's Island (Little, Brown). This is a personal narrative of Hall's own experiences in visiting Pitcairn's Island, and makes interesting balance for the gruesome account of the voyage of Captain and his crew 150 years before, for Hall, too, suffers ship-wreck and makes the trip from Pitcairn's Island to Tahiti in an open boat. Delightfully told, intensely human, strong appeal to all who like sea stories and who seek escape reading. On to this tale of his own experiences, Hall succeeds in hanging additional facts and speculations about H.M.S. Bounty and the ill-fated crew.
