OUR WAR AND OUR PEACE by James P. Warburg

OUR WAR AND OUR PEACE

Pub Date: May 8th, 1941

An olla podrida of essays, speeches, debates, letters to Congress, to Hull, etc. gathered together with one purpose -- the destruction of the isolationist illusion. A member of the Foreign Policy Association and World Peace Foundation, Warburg discusses America's position, believing that because of foreign trade we cannot stay clear of Europe's problems. Aid to Britain, the Lease-Lend Bill, tariffs, are the live issues of the book; other parts, written or spoken some time previously, are dated. Ideologically sound, but many may disagree with his economic premises.
