THE TOOLS OF WAR

For the armchair student of military science and probably a larger percentage of college and university students are taking this course than at any other time in our history) this should prove stimulating and revealing reading. It is the first book for the layman that I have found that combines a history of military weapons, of naval weapons, and an up-to-the-minute panorama of the modern engines of death. All the fighting arms are included, in terms readily understandable to anyone conversant with daily news records of modern warfare.
