This is a book of radio plays or make-believe broadcasts for children. There is a good variety of plot in the 12 plays included and clear instructions for production. All but one (an incident during the Valley Forge campaign) are contemporary in theme, dealing with simple mischief makers, the apprehending of criminals by adventurous children, plays within plays, etc. The majority are of equal interest to boys and girls. They are written in correct form for broadcasting and the technical directions are complete for each play. Production time ranges from 20 to 40 minutes. An excellent book for school libraries or large families. The quality of the plays, themselves, might be improved, but they are mild compared to the commercial broadcasts.
