BELLEVUE

Backstage in one of America's largest, and leading, city hospitals, New York's Bellevue, playing up the human, rather than the medical or functional aspects of the life there. After giving a brief history of the hospital, and vindicating certain criticisms brought to bear upon the institution, the authors settle down to case racontage, from gangsters to drunks to millionaire accident cases, etc. A rather second-rate level of material, laboriously written.
