TAILBONE PATROL

Zany Boy Scouting, chapters of which have already appeared in Boy's Life. outlines the doings of the Eagle Patrol and how they got to be the Tailbones instead. Definitely under par in the contributory activities to Troop Ten of Phoenix, Arizona, the Eagles are ordered to wake up and fly right, or else. But in their earnest attempts, the bumblers meet some funny misfortunes head- on before they succeed and trounce their rivals the Cougars in a polo match on donkeys. Wacky and quite funny, these doings remind us of the ones in T. Morris Longstreth's Elephant Toast (1952) and Camping Like Crazy (1953).
