KIRKUS REVIEW

An idea, shall we say ""borrowed"" since we are speaking of the Presiding Bishop and the Episcopal Church, from the Bishop of London's Lenten Selection, differing however by having each chapter written by a different man, some clergy and some laymen. Beginning with Ash Wednesday taken by Bishop Perry, Thursday, Friday and Saturday have separate chapters by Bishops Hobson, McDowell and Manning. Then six chapters devoted to the remaining six weeks by Chas. Dibble, Ralph Adams Crane, Bishop Johnson, Bishop Sherrill, President Wec and Dr. Drury. A noble roster and a good book. This is the second year and besides being a better book, the price has been reduced from $1.50 to $1.00. Get your Episcopal Clergy lined up and find out how many classes they are having for Bent and contact the study class leaders at once. Because of the widespread interests of the contributors there is a market outside of the Episcopal Church.
