THE SPRINGFIELD PLAN

It is presented not as a rounded project, wholly compassed, but as flashes of ideas, -- with schools blazing the way, and churches, library, community organizations in close cooperation. One gets a sense of Springfield sharing the experience of trail-blazing with those who read the text, see the pictures, as Springfield strives to make democracy a vivid personal experience and responsibility.
