KIRKUS REVIEW

Nancy Jo, a New England high school senior, is frankly awed by the new boy in town. She sees between her father, a mechanic, and his, a professor, all the discrepancies that make the relationship she longs for impossible. But John, the new boy, proves her wrong as he and his family warmly accept Nancy and her background. Another story in which the best of all possible girls (but for a few disarming foibles) meets the best of all possible boys and lives happily ever after in the best of all possible worlds. For all its millennial overtones, this is a pleasant and wholesome story and should give heart to teen-age girls.
