THE TEENY, TINY WITCHES

A family of witches, tiny or not, who can't find a place where they ""fit"" have something going for them, the appeal of helplessness in beings ordinarily endowed with supernatural powers. But Ma and Pa and Sam Witch are only recognizable as such by their peaked hats; and their magic, we're told, is miniscule. So this becomes the house-hunt of tiny, harmless folks kin to The Borrowers, and while one is glad to see them settled safely in hospitable Elmer's mousehole--and bedding down in a less secure slipper at night--there's nothing extraordinary about it. Without a whisker of mischief, a disappointment all around.
