KIRKUS REVIEW

Can't see any appeal even for the Abbott market in this story of a prude who is forced out of her groove by new contacts and who learns to live life instead of stagnating in a backwash of self-righteousness. No light touch, no lure, to give vitality or charm to a dull story.
