A big, splashy, brass-band version of the Disney Cinderella, this should carry the and market. Each page with four-color illustrations is decorated in gilt paint to the last available inch, and the cartoons are Disney in character, but stylized and more balanced in design. The adaptor of the illustrations- Retta Scott Worcester, has utilized gorgeous colors and plenty of gilt paint- perhaps too much as some pictures are distorted in the light. Text follows the pre-Disney story more or less and the animal dialogue is not used. The eye-catching cover makes a good display place. Merchandise values.
