Pure fluff about a little owl whose nighttime hollering disturbs all the neighbor animals, until the family moves to a new tree where a family of raucous raccoons makes even more noise--and the little owl decides that it's better to hoot softly like his parents. The little owl's ""success story,"" as this is subtitled, is smoothly told and sketched with brio, but loud or soft Miller's plot is just a flat echo of too many others.
