THE ILL-TEMPERED TIGER

By Jane Miller

Pub Date: Sept. 4th, 1957
Publisher: Lippincott

There's a sugar coated moral in this tiny book about an ill tempered tiger, who woke up disgruntled, wouldn't eat breakfast, insulted his tailor, snarled at TV and spoiled a pleasant party. But his sister knew what was wrong and was fearless enough to say so- he'd stayed up too late the night before: With a good night's sleep, the ill-tempered tiger was a ray of sunshine; he fed the pigeons and played the piano and concluded that life was beautiful.
