MISS LIZZIE

Miss Lissie liked to cook better than anything else, but she had no one to cook for Charlie Dog and Captain Snyder liked to eat but the Captain could only cook beans which grew very dull. Finally, Charlie Dog smelled his way to the doughnuts, and Miss Lissie found herself a permanent job. The happy couple forgot Charlie Dog until he found a way to make them remember -- and then they got a wife for him and the four of them were happy in their own special ways. The humor is somewhat adult, but youngsters will get a chuckle out of the broad humor of the pictures.
