BETSY GOES A-VISITING

A might-be-true story of an eight year old child who goes to West Hartford to pay a long visit to her great aunt. All the things that make up her days, as she gradually becomes one of the crowd, the animals that were taken in as members of the household, the ""club"" and the museum, and the way the children raised money by selling pumpkins. One of these episodic stories of real children, without any actual plot but a better one than the average.
