SERAPHINE WENT WALKING

The brown donkey finds the meadow dull and goes adventuring. He doesn't like the outside world as much as he thought he would and is glad to get back to the home pasture and his friend the gray donkey. Nice pictures by Clement Hurd, but the book as a whole seems an echo of many in similar vein.
