KIRKUS REVIEW

The author of ten still growing series has produced her third Parri Macdonald book. Presently, Parri is bored with life, so she calls her cousin Davy, a plebe at West Point, in hopes of pushing her way into some excitement. Meanwhile, at the Academy, Davy's having roommate troubles and misses Betsy, his girl. However, Parri manages to wangle a date for a West Point dance, and besides having a big role in a highschool play, takes it upon her 15-year-old self to solve Davy's roommate's problems for him. She is successful, and as a reward, gains the formerly fouled-up boy's attention. Paper thin as the prom decorations -- and as unreal. New litter on old Flirtation Walk.
