STARS RISING

Stories involving a group of ambitious High School girls and boys, the events of their last year at school, the first steps towards careers, the beginning of possible romance. The chapters are fairly rounded episodes, but there is enough sustained interest in the characters to give one the feeling of this being a unified whole. Barbara, well to do and somewhat spoiled, and Wylie, ambitious and poor, are the central figures. Conservatively modern in tone and viewpoint.
