KIRKUS REVIEW

Our first review of this book in the February 1 issue was based on incomplete material sent us. Now that we have been presented with the complete format, we should like to edit and augment our impression. . . The child is invited to close his eyes and imagine a mountain, a city street, a beach, a farm, the West. Probing questions help him paint a fuller mental picture which he may then compare with Bernard Owett's gaily detailed page illustrations. This is a satisfying game that exercises both memory and imagination and is introduced in a most inviting three color framework.
