THE SILVER DOLLAR

Bill was very popular with the real cowboys on the Texas ranch where he lived, but he didn't know how popular until he lost the silver dollar with which he had dreamed of buying all the cowboy things he yearned for. They take him on a roundup and one at a time, he acquires his heart's desires, all planned for a ""little boy about his size"". And he has lots of adventures. Though the story and setting are wholly North American, there is something about the lithography by Barbara Latham that looks more like South America.
