LITTLE BEAR'S PANCAKE PARTY

Little Bear wakes up after a long winter sleep and finds that he is very hungry. As he is a most discriminating little bear, he knows exactly what he wants-- not a banana, nor a sunflower seed. Little bear wants a great heap of pancakes. He is given a box of mix and, after inviting all his animal friends, sits down to devour its contents, only to find to his chagrin that the box contains nothing but powder. The lively congregation finds a solution to this most distressing dilemma in a sequel as beguiling as Janice's earlier adventure, Little Bear's Sunday Breakfast. No child who has ever responded to the appeal of a teddy bear will be able to resist this adventurous little nonsense story.
