LITTLE BEAR'S SUNDAY BREAKFAST

In this reverse telling of the Goldilocks story, the littlest bear, a lovely, fluffy, hungry bear, wakes up on January 15th hoping that it's spring -- he's so hungry. Finding the cupboard empty, he walks across the field to Goldilock's house, has a splendid stolen meal, and then slips into her bed to continue his nap. She finds him and after giving him a delicious Sunday dinner, sends him home with a bag full of goodies. The combined talents of Mariana, who has created among other characters, Miss Flora McFlimsey, and Janice, whose delightful book The Lonely Little Lady and Her Garden Mariana also illustrated, result here in a book designed to delight both children and their parents.
