KIRKUS REVIEW

One by one the animals, and Farmer Freidel, assemble for the evening concert: Bruno the dog barks and drums, Greta Goat trumpets clear, Katie the pig can only grunt ""Queek, queek, ""etc. Announcing each entrance is a jingle Jangle rhyme and, on the facing page, a full-color drawing, deliberately childlike, of the animal disporting himself.
